Currently, I do allover or edge-to-edge quilting and custom quilting.  My quilting is entirely hand-driven using a stitch-regulated APQS Millennium.  I can accept quilts up to but not including California kings.  The minimum charge for a quilt is $40.00.

My per-square-inch prices are as follows:

Edge-to-edge:  1.5 to 2.5 cents per square inch, depending upon the density of the design.  An allover meander is the most budget-conscious option at 1.5 cents per square inch.  This is a very good option for most T-shirt quilts.  I also quilt a number of freehand meanders (stars, loops, flowers) and have a library of 30 pantographs available.

Custom quilting:  starting at 3 cents per square inch, depending upon the complexity of the design and how much of the quilt is involved.  Because everyone’s ideas for their quilts are unique, it is easiest to discuss what you want me to do and what your budget is for the quilt.

There is also a thread charge of $8.00 for one color of thread.  If you would like one part of the quilt to be quilted in one color and another to be quilted in a different color, there is an additional charge of $5.00 per color of thread.

Typically, turnaround time is four weeks.  However, there are certain times of the year when we are all busier.  I will not accept quilts for a December deadline after October 1 – the month of December is family time for our household.

I do not accept appointments at my home, but I am delighted to meet you at a quilt shop or at your guild meeting – let’s make an appointment!  Please contact me by phone at (502) 551-8797 or by email at
